Akhisarspor is a professional Turkish football club located in the city of Akhisar, Turkey. It was formed in 1970 and has been competing in the top football division of Turkey in the last 6 concecutive years. Akhisarspor had their first major success in 2012 when they won the TFF First League Championship and as a result were promoted to the Top Turkish Football Division - Süper Lig. In 2018, Akhisarspor won the biggest national cup of the country - Turkish Cup, beating Fenerbahçe in the final and then second biggest cup - Turkish Super Cup beating Galatasaray in the final. The club will play in UEFA Europa League group stage in 2018/2019 season.
