Global Initiative to Advance Entrepreneurship (GIVE) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation founded by Steven Van Yoder of Get Slightly Famous™ that is dedicated to addressing social challenges in the US and abroad. GIVE works to reduce global poverty by using a unique multi-faceted approach to advance entrepreneurship among individuals and NGOs in struggling countries. GIVE's members and project partners are drawn from the small business, corporate and nonprofit sectors. We forge global alliances with individuals, businesses and organizations that have a stake in targeted communities. Our overarching mission is to produce job creators rather than job seekers through entrepreneurial education and small business development projects. GIVE achieves its mission by forging complementary relationships between the for-profit and nonprofit sectors, and by linking proven models and resources to alleviate global poverty.
