Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), opened its Swedish office in 1970 and has for over 50 years constructed business relationships between Sweden, Norway, Iceland, Latvia and Korea. KOTRA is subordinated to the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE) in Korea and is represented with 128 branch offices in 84 countries. KOTRA Stockholm’s supporting tasks include organizing business events, conferences and trade delegations, assist with investment advice and market research, support trade shows and exhibitions, as well as conducting B2B matchmaking. - GP events - We organize our “Global Partnering” events with focus on industries such as automotive, renewable energy, machinery, battery etc. Global corporations have the opportunity to meet with Korean suppliers through webinars, pitching days and one-on-one business meetings. - Supplier search - We search for potential suppliers in various fields on request from Nordic companies. We help to find the best Korean suppliers for global, small and medium sized companies. Countless trade contacts have been created through our matchmaking efforts and organized online meetings. We can always provide interpreters. - Trade delegations - Throughout the year, our office organizes trade delegations from South Korea for Swedish companies that want to scout the market for potential suppliers. Delegations are most commonly related to industries such as food and beverage, machine tools, cosmetics etc. - Trade shows - International trade shows are held yearly, and we offer to arrange the participation of Nordic companies, as well as setting up one-on-one meetings with desired Korean companies. We provide an interpreter when needed. - Invest Korea - Providing comprehensive one-stop services for the establishment of foreign businesses in Korea, including consultations, assistance with investment notification and corporate establishment, support for business activities in Korea and grievance resolution.
