Millbrae Nursery School is a nonprofit school owned and operated by the parents of the children currently enrolled. Fathers, mothers, parents & guardians aid in the handling of the school’s administration, finances, housekeeping and building maintenance. Parents also regularly assist the school’s credentialed teachers in the classroom. Since 1938, Millbrae Nursery School has been providing a safe and social educational experience for children aged 2-5 and their families. The school has reached its 77th year of serving children and families and is going strong with three classes (2-3 year olds, 3-4 year olds and Pre-K). The school is constantly changing to meet the needs of the children and their parents, and we proudly participate in Virtual Pre-K activities in conjunction with First 5 California. Works with the Childcare Coordinating Council of San Mateo, San Mateo County Office of Education and Community Care Licensing to provide educational opportunities to all families.
