www.lgef.orgLGEF is a parent-run, non-profit organization that raises vital funds for the Los Gatos Union School District (LGUSD). The Foundation was founded in 1982 by concerned parents and community members in response to severe cutbacks in public school funding and programs following the passage of Proposition 13. Since its formation, LGEF has contributed over $7.7 million to supplement the district’s limited budget. LGEF annual campaign funding focuses on SMART programs Science, Music, ARt, and Technology offered throughout the district. The Annual Giving Campaign each year funds core curriculum and enrichment programs at Lexington, Daves Avenue, Blossom Hill and Van Meter elementary schools as well as RJ Fisher Middle School.
