Redpath Museum Society
redpathmuseumsociety.weebly.comThe Redpath Museum Club was founded by Donald Fowler in September 2005. He was inspired to start the club after talking with Professor Hans Larsson in Alberta over the summer. Upon returning to McGill, Donald worked with Science Outreach Coordinator Ingrid Birker to get the club organized and active in museum activities. Club members are involved with the Redpath Museum in a number of ways. Student guides give informal tours on Sunday afternoons, organize lecture and film series, and visit schools around Montreal to share their knowledge of the museum and its exhibits with elementary students. Our mandate is “to promote, participate in, and enjoy the activities, people, and academic mission of the Redpath Museum and its associated academic pursuits.”
