The Forensic Anthropology Service is based on formal agreements set up between us and the Coroners' Service of Ireland and also the Office of the State Pathologist. The Service is also available on a 24/7 basis to An Garda Síochána, Forensic Science Ireland and other investigative authorities, including those in Northern Ireland. They include immediate photographic/image analysis of potential remains and scene attendance for search and recovery of remains in various situations, including fire scenarios, exhumations, mummification, dismemberment and retrieval from foreshore coastal areas. HRSI offers professional, confidential and independent forensic anthropological services in Ireland and the rest of Europe. Our consultancy includes human remains analysis, post-mortem computed tomography (PMCT) examinations, research project development and assistance and the provision of guest lectures in the forensic field. I am a Certified Forensic Anthropologist (Cert FA-III) under the UK Justice System and Fellows of the Royal Anthropological Institute.
