SoLit, formerly Southern Lit Alliance, offers innovative community programs in the literary arts. Our mission is to engage young people and adults in a life-long love of reading, writing, and community conversation. Our programs include literature festivals, author visits, writing workshops for teens and adults, writing contests for kids and outreach to underserved teens and area jails. We believe in the incomparable power of literature to uplift, connect and inspire.
