Since 1992, Prytania Veterinary Hospital has served the Uptown and Greater New Orleans community as a full service small animal hospital providing both emergency and routine medical, surgical, and dental care as well as boarding and grooming. Though we started out as a small clinic with our two practice owners, Drs. Nancy Nathan and Brian Ghere, and a staff of eight employees, we have since expanded our staff and have been lucky enough to add three more outstanding doctors to the Prytania Vet family: Dr. Rachelle Biondolillo has been with us since 2003, Dr. Jennifer Foster joined us in 2012, and most recently Dr. Taylor Ghere joined the team in 2018. We aim to treat both you and your pet with the utmost respect, compassion and kindness while minimizing any discomfort or anxiety that your pet may experience at the vet. Our staff prides itself on being highly trained and motivated. Members of our staff are required to continue their education by keeping up with new information, technology and skills necessary to provide the best possible veterinary care. We value our clients and our community, and we work tirelessly to develop long-term relationships with our clients based on mutual trust and respect. We understand that you have a choice in veterinary hospitals, and we would like to encourage you to take a moment to call us today with any questions that you may have about our doctors or services. Although we do see walk-ins and emergencies, we encourage you to make an appointment for any non-urgent issues including annual visits and vaccinations and non-emergency health concerns.
