PetroGroup (formerly known as Petroclamp Product Centre and related with Petroclamp Sdn Bhd) was incorporated in 2008 with a vision to be a recognized service provider for Oil & Gas industry in Malaysia. In 2013, PetroGroup was awarded a 5 years contract to manufacture and supply Downhole Cable Protector through PETRONAS Vendor Development Program (VDP). Since then, the company has expanded its business scope in upstream to include well intervention and completion accessories through strategic alliances with international companies. In 2017, PetroGroup ventures into downstream Pipe Support business by supporting PETRONAS to manufacture and install their pipe support equipment.
