Founded in 1956, Student Athletic Board, or SAB, is a student-run organization that represents the IU student population in recurring meetings with the IU Athletic Department administrators and staff. SAB actively leads the Crimson Guard student section for all varsity sports at IU, always bringing energy and excitement. SAB also creates and organizes several other incredible events, such as the Candy Stripe Classic 3v3 basketball tournament, a Homecoming parade float, road trips to away games, and much more! In addition to engagement with IU athletics, SAB encourages community involvement with the Boys and Girls Club of Bloomington and other local organizations.
