For past few years, Gandhinagar Queer Pride Foundation has silently been working on providing a safe space for visibility to the queer community. GQPF is also a proud board member of many international organizations such as InterPride, thus putting Indian on a global map for the pride movement. We aim at bringing about a larger and more widespread change, and thus have constantly been working in the space of gender sensitivity training and seminars for colleges, universities and corporations. When need be, GQPF also helps in rescuing people from the queer community who have been surviving in life-threatening and abusive environments. The foundation is completely bootstrapped and all the mentioned activities are carried out with personal funds of the founder and volunteers or with support of a few other organizations working towards the same cause.
