Enterra started when founder, Brad Marchant, found himself dancing with fate, while fishing with David Suzuki. They were discussing the need for a new and viable fish feed solution to supplement over-harvested fishmeal and fish oil, helping restore the ocean’s ecosystem and bring greater food security to the world. Insects were already a considerable part of the diet for popular fish like salmon and trout – so why not start there? This is what started Enterra on its journey to harness the power of insects to feed and care for the world.
