The company was established in August 2015 Zurich, Switzerland, by Christian Grothe and Ladd Lougee. Grothe has a PhD in Engineering and Lougee has a track record of entrepreneurial success by bringing the award-winning STRONGBACK camping chairs to market in 2010.
