Established in 1963, and about to enter into its 50th year of operation, Kilsyth Basketball promotes and controls Basketball in the Kilsyth and surrounding districts, principally by conducting competitions for Basketballers registered with the Association. Today we are the largest Basketball Association in Victoria, responsible for over 1,100 domestic Basketball teams and in excess of 18,000 registered members. The Kilsyth Sports Centre is the home of the Kilsyth Cobras, who are the representative teams of Kilsyth Basketball. At the senior level, the Kilsyth Cobras teams compete in the prestigious men’s and women’s sections of the South East Australian Basketball League (SEABL) and also fields men’s and women’s development teams in the Victorian Youth Championship. As one of the most recognisable sporting clubs within the local community, Kilsyth Basketball has a strong market profile and is one of the most prestigious associations in Australia.
