Emmaus Homes, a 501(c)3 non-profit and United Way agency, has been providing around-the-clock support services to adults with developmental disabilities since it’s founding in 1893. Today, Emmaus supports nearly 300 individuals in 85 community homes in a five-county region within the St. Louis metropolitan area. We provide education, housing, community, and spiritual care programs. By emphasizing the tenets of inclusion, self-advocacy, and freedom of choice, supported individuals achieve a more fulfilling, independent life experience with the help of more than 700 staff members.
