Jason Drost, President of Spatial Momentum, has over 10 years’ experience in the information technology and GIS field. With a background in information technology, he has acquired a unique skill set allowing him to combine the fields of Geographic Information Systems and Information Technology. His education includes a degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Central Florida (B.S.). His good judgment, reputation, and experience allow Spatial Momentum to provide creative and efficient solutions. Mr. Drost has worked across several industries ranging from Engineering, Planning, Asset Management, Emergency Response, Public Safety, Marketing, and Surveying in local government and as a consultant providing GIS related services. He has worked with numerous programming languages including Visual Basic .NET, ASP .NET, VB Script, Javascript, and Python to name a few. Mr. Drost also has specialized knowledge and understanding relating to GIS software, including the ArcGIS product suite and mobile GIS software and technology using ArcPad, Trimble, and Global Positioning Systems(GPS).
