MASS-Management and Awareness of Social Stigma
MASS is an initiative of healthcare and wellness, as a step towards creating awareness for various health conditions and breaking the social stigma around it. MASS- Management and Awareness of Social Stigma. Management- our goal is to inform people at the earliest about the symptoms of the disease, side effects caused by various treatments and psychological and social aspects of the diseases for the comfort of the people. Awareness- we seek to increase the audience’s knowledge by sharing the information on different platforms using various physical and digital mediums. Social Stigma- fear, anxiety, improper knowledge about the management and lack of awareness has created thick layers of myth and taboo around. By breaking the gender norms and social stigma we aim to make people have faith and belief in the healthcare system. Core values: Care, Knowledge, Empathy, Authenticity Vision: As a team, we work diligently to envision a country, where people are no more left in the dark and embrace their condition. Our work is directed to empower the patient in all parts of the society breaking barriers of language and distance. We wish to promote self-care through Information Therapy and bring the limelight on the needs and efforts of the caregivers.
