The mission of LIFT Field Hockey is to build young girls’ leadership, sportsmanship, fitness, and confidence through development of their field hockey skills and teamwork. LIFT Field Hockey will provide 3rd through 12th grade girls in the Milwaukee area with an opportunity to play field hockey and practice healthy fitness habits in the off-season, while learning teamwork, sportsmanship, leadership, and developing confidence and self-esteem. We will help grow the sport for the area middle school and high schools that play by offering a place to learn and play for any girl, regardless of experience or ability. While LIFT FH focuses on developing skills and team camaraderie in field hockey, we will use the sport as a tool for practicing sportsmanship and teamwork, teaching leadership development, and volunteering in the community.
