Originating in 1998, Studio Nine Architects is a multi-disciplinary design firm delivering projects across a broad range of sectors around Australia. With a merged interior-architecture structure, the studio consists of 40 experienced and dedicated design and support staff with five hands-on directors varying in background, area of specialisation and age. A large contributor to the success of the practice has been their diversity across sectors and scale of projects, which they continue to demonstrate through their expansive project portfolio, varying in value from $100K to $110M. Internally, Studio Nine’s ethos is that “intelligent inputs equal creative outputs”. The focus is on delivering outcomes that add value by responding to each brief with a balance of evidence and innovation. Drawing on the studio’s depth and breadth of knowledge, they work hand-in-hand with their clients to ensure the spaces they design are tailored to suit the end user.
