ADRA Ukraine is a subunit of a large worldwide network present in more than 125 countries, with the HQ in Washington D.C. ADRA Ukraine has been operating in Ukraine since 1993 and used to provide activities through 4 offices - ukrainian HQs in Kyiv and 3 regional offices in Mariupol, Kramatorsk & Severodonetsk. Due to humanitarian response, ADRA Ukraine is providing humanitarian assistance to internally displaced people in 15 regions of Ukraine. During 24 years period ADRA Ukraine has implemented over 200 different projects and provided up to 2 mln. direct beneficiaries with material, social and psycho-social assistance. Those were emergency relief projects of first need goods distribution for the victims of natural and manmade disasters, humanitarian aid assistance for the most vulnerable population: crisis and extended families, orphans, children of Chernobyl, handicapped and disabled, elderly people, soup-kitchens for the poor, social relief and development projects in the centers of support and care, rehabilitation, orphanages etc. Since EuroMaidan and Dignity Revolution in Ukraine and start of the military conflict in Eastern Ukraine, ADRA takes care of about 1,000,000 needful people in 15 regions of Ukraine. In summary, during the years of 2014-2016 and early 2017 ADRA Ukraine have completed projects totaling more than USD $5,000,000.
