viBe Theater Experience produces original, free theater and music about real-life issues written and performed by New York City teenage girls. viBe provides a safe space for under-served girls (ages 13-19) to express their voices, take on challenge and responsibility and gain the self-confidence to succeed personally, socially and academically. Through intensive, free programs, workshops and productions, we engage and inspire young women to write, rehearse, publish and perform personal and truthful collaborative theater and music. Since 2002, our performances have brought free theater and music to thousands of young audience members and changed their perceptions of what young women can achieve.
