SUKHIBA is a venture backed community commerce platform with a mission to get the next billion users to start shopping online. At SUKHIBA, consumers can come together, interact, learn, shop together and save together. We do this by connecting local sellers, manufacturers, and farmers to consumer communities directly. We are currently focussed on getting next million users living in tier 2 and 3 communities of Kenya and India to “buy together and save together”. These users are primarily mobile first, social and shop with their community (the ubiquitous food chamas of Kenya). SUKHIBA makes it easy for these consumers to leverage the widely used mass messaging technologies like SMS, whatsapp to make groups and shop together. Additionally, our women led community leaders ensure that they can provide the last mile assisted commerce and distribution experience for users who are unable to order online themselves. Its a new disruptive model which ensures access, affordability, and availability of various products to our users. The idea of C2M based demand aggregation around products, social virality and community leaders ensures we can keep operational and logistics cost low, while expanding across various communities. Our current catalogues include FMCG products and fruits and vegetables sourced straight from farm.
