www.thegenesisfoundation.orgThe Genesis Foundation for Children provides funding for the diagnosis and compassionate, coordinated care of children born with genetic disorders, rare diseases, and disabilities. Since our inception, we have provided diagnosis, care and guidance to over 60,000 children and families around the state of Massachusetts and New England. Founded in 1982 by Dr. Murray Feingold, The Genesis Fund, re-named the Genesis Foundation in 2014, primarily funds The Feingold Center for Children, located at Boston Children’s Hospital-Waltham. The Feingold Center addresses the clinical needs of the child and provides comprehensive care which includes making referrals to the best medical specialists, coordinating multiple appointments, offering satellite clinics in local communities, and having sufficient time to answer the many questions that parents have regarding their child’s condition and care. Funding is also given to support the Therapy and Performing Arts programs, which provide therapeutic arts and recreational programs, and MotherToBaby (formerly known as the Pregnancy Exposure InfoLine), which provides education and information concerning exposures that could potentially harm a developing baby.
