www.fscc.orgFamily Service Counseling and Community Resource Center (FSCC) is a grass roots, nonprofit organization focused on the emotional welfare of individuals and families. An East Bay community resource since 1926, FSCC offers quality and personal counseling services through Counseling and Support Groups, Family and Couples Counseling, and Individual Counseling. Our mission is to promote the well-being of adults, children, couples, and families by offering effective, professional counseling services which are relevant and affordable for all who need them. With a dedicated and caring staff of mental health professionals, FSCC has provided more than 4,500 therapy sessions per year to a diverse population from varying economic backgrounds. As part of its commitment to diversity and community, FSCC serves individuals and families of different ages, socioeconomic statuses, disabilities, races, ethnicities, sexual orientations, and religions. In addition, the agency works with Alameda County in its Welfare-to-Work program (CalWORKs) and its youth programs including truancy prevention, homeless youth, and pregnant/parenting teens. FSCC is also partners with Alameda County Office of Education, the California Department of Public Health, and Hayward Unified School District in tobacco-use education and cessation programs.
