Central Coast Resolutions, LLC provides Mediation, Conflict Management Coaching, and Facilitation Services in the Monterey Bay Area of California and beyond. All services are provided by a disciplined neutral party that provides a safe and confidential environment for parties to communicate, discuss their differences, tackle common problems, and/or explore possible resolutions to their disputes. Mediation services cover Collections and Small Claims, Civil Disputes, Landlord/Tenant and Residential Disputes, Business and Workplace Issues, Interpersonal Conflicts, and Divorce Mediation (through Monterey Divorce Mediation). Conflict Coaching Services help parties learn how to engage with conflict positively and productively. It is a dynamic, practical, and productive process in which individuals build their capacity to develop creative and constructive ways to handle conflict and resolve disputes that negatively impact on either their professional or personal lives. Facilitation Services essentially provide a referee to guide organizations, associations, companies, religious groups, and communities seeking to hold productive and focused meetings where emotions may be high, or where professional or personal contexts may not be complimentary, or where communication efforts are otherwise not functioning properly. William J. Shelby, M.P.A., is a Facilitative Mediator and Conflict Coach in Monterey County. With the experience of many hundreds of mediations, Bill serves as the Court Mediation Coordinator for the Superior Court in Monterey County through the Monterey College of Law (MCL). He is a volunteer mediator for the Conflict Resolution Center of Santa Cruz, and the NEIGHBOR Project at MCL. He earned a graduate certificate in Conflict Analysis and Resolution from the School for Conflict Analysis and Resolution (S-CAR) at George Mason University, in Arlington, VA, which he routinely augments with advanced Mediator and Coaching training.
