We have chosen the word College to emphasise not only our autonomy and independence, but also that beyond education and training is the importance of community in health and healing. The College explores health by drawing from the disciplines of western medicine, psychology and relevant complementary health practices, so that those who study with us develop a comprehensive perspective on the body and mind with respect to health, illness and disease. The education we provide extends beyond the training courses to explore the frontiers of health in a broader humanistic perspective and engages other relevant disciplines and teachings, particularly from traditional backgrounds.
