Founded in 1990, my law practice specializes in litigation and business law, ranging from business litigation to transactions, contracts and advisory services. My litigation practice initially focused on medical malpractice and personal injury matters. In recent years, I have devoted the majority of my practice to litigation on behalf of businesses or against businesses. I have served as class counsel in numerous class action lawsuits, including 2 cases which obtained reimbursement of $350 million for insureds whose major medical carriers illegally failed to reimburse the amounts that the insureds should have been paid. In representing businesses in areas other than litigation, I have bought and sold multi-million dollar businesses; negotiated and drafted shareholders agreements, operating agreements and other partnership-type documents; and negotiated and drafted many agreements between unrelated businesses. Many of the businesses I have represented have been in medical-related fields, including 8 nursing homes, several pharmaceutical supply companies and medical practices.
