Hanseatic Unity is the joint chartering and marketing platform of the container tonnage for Asiatic & Atlantic Lloyd, Borealis Maritime, Leonhardt & Blumberg and Reederei NORD. Established in 2013 as O&S Chartering, the company was re-branded to Hanseatic Unity Chartering (HUC) in 2015 when Borealis Maritime joined the founding partners. In July 2017 Asiatic & Atlantic Lloyd and Leonhardt & Blumberg, after merging with Buss Shipping, became the latest partners of Hanseatic Unity, combining the marketing and chartering of their fleets. Hanseatic Unity is to date amongst the largest providers of modern eco-designed container feeders and holding an eco-newbuilding program to support the reduction of emissions in the container industry. We are one of the key commercial managers in today’s global shipping market by controlling a fleet of 115 container vessels within the range of 1,000 TEU up to 7,100 TEU. It is the long term strategy of Hanseatic Unity to continuously grow and to diversify the platform by expanding our services to other Shipowners and Investors alike.
