At AYEI, we believe that student-driven innovation in education can be a powerful force for forging better futures. The Appleton Youth Education Initiative is a student-driven non-profit organization that was founded in 2009 to better prepare high school students for their academic and professional lives after high school. The AYEI accomplishes its mission through the creation of innovative programs and projects that would raise student achievement, and by assisting in the development, promotion, and funding of existing programs and projects compatible with the organization’s goals. The AYEI is a 501(c)(3) organization exempt from federal income tax.
