Millions and millions live their lives disconnected from the people they love and the things they were once so passionate about. All because they can’t hear well. It doesn’t have to be that way. We refuse to accept it. And we know we can make a difference. We appreciate how life-changing restoring someone’s hearing can be. We’ve heard it with our own ears from men and women, children and the elderly, whose lives we’ve helped change for the better. But we are naturally restless and unsatisfied. Why? Because we believe we can do more, do better, for everyone with hearing loss. In fact, we make this pledge, this promise: we will not rest until wearing a hearing aid is as simple and routine as eyeglasses or contact lenses. After all, why should it be any different? Together with our partners, hearing care professionals around the world, we are fully committed to fighting the stigma attached to hearing loss, to tearing down barriers for the hearing-impaired and to finding new and innovative ways to help everyone reconnect to the beauty of sound.
