Dot is an establishment of and for the theatre. In October 2005 Dot founded its 1st venue in The Mısır Apartment Building in Beyoğlu Istiklal Street, Istanbul. Dot has produced and staged 12 plays and 18 short plays from 2005 to 2010. Dot works in artistic development, production and venue management. Artıstıc Development Dot is artistically concerned with the spirit of the age. Innovative adaptations of contemporary texts form the repertoire. Underlining the repertoire is the story of the and the urban dweller. Productıon Dot produces plays for it’s own repertoire and venue. Dot is open as co-producer to partnerships with international festivals and/ or institutions. Venue Management Dot original productions are staged 4 times a week in Dot’s own venue.
