The sponsor's donated funds are disbursed by the organization to the Sparrow family for legitimate maintenance and medical needs after being earned by the students for their community service hours. Ultimately, the child and family are being practically supported through their crisis while students are serving their community as heroes for their Sparrow! The Sparrow Project sponsorship also allows this unique and effective program to be entirely free to schools for the entire school year, receiving oversight and service from the Sparrow Clubs organization.
