Foundation for Civil Society (FCS) is an independent Tanzanian non-profit organization that provides grants and capacity building services to civil society organizations (CSOs) so as to enhance their effectiveness in enabling the engagement of citizens in development processes. It was established by development stakeholders in Tanzania. Vision Empowered,resilient and responsible citizens realize social economic justice and improved quality of life. Mission To contribute to sustainable and inclusive development in Tanzania through strengthening capabilities and sharing resources. We do this through strategic partnerships with CSOs, community groups and other development actors.
