Micram Microelectronic GmbH
www.micram.comMicram is now the longest-established high-speed silicon design group in Europe, founded in 1990. Over the years, Micram has developed 12 world record-breaking chips and built numerous high-speed components for companies large and small, including Agilent, Nokia-Siemens, Infineon and Ericsson. Skills and products address a number of markets, including telecommunications, test and measurement, data analysis and pure research applications. The product focus at Micram is on emerging ultrafast optical telecommunications applications, specifically 100G networking. In 2008 we introduced our VEGA line of ultrafast signal converters, which are the fastest available devices of their kind, providing sampling rates in excess of 30GS/s at 20 GHz bandwidth, with a path to >60GS/s sample rates in 2010. Because it delivers full bandwidth and a fully programmable FPGA interface, VEGA enable 100G developers to make real progress today, not years into the future. Micram also provides provides several varied multiplexer, demultiplexer and MSDFF components supporting the 30 Gb/s and 60 Gb/s speed ranges, as well as a popular range of Transimpedance Amplifiers (TIAs).
