Studio 727 was established in 1997, formly as a postproduction studio delivering film editing and animation. Soon the range of possibilities widened and Studio 727 become known on the Slovak market for its complex film a video post-production. Main focus are full length films, historical, documentary and short films, commercials and music videos etc. As for post-production services 727 Studio delivers the full palette of technologies – film scanning, digital color correction, digital film restoration, offline / online film editing, cartoons, 2D and 3D animation, online compositing, special visual effects and etc. Years of technological knowledge, supported with world leading technique, combined with experienced team of artists and operators, are making an optimal environment for the most sophisticated projects, whether on the level of logistics, creativity or technology. The Northlight II film scanner, only one in Slovakia, delivers film scanning on the most highest technological level. Consequent post-processing for digital restoration (only one in Slovakia) runs in most cases parallel to the scanning process enabling minimal technological delay. Practically unlimited potential of digital color correction in Autodesk Lustre can be used on reference monitors and projectors with the ability to simulate specific film materials in the system of Trueligth. The editing work is performed on up-to-date version of Avid Media Composer and Film Composer, respectively in Final Cut Pro. The team of experienced animators use Autodesk Maya, in collaboration with high computing power of dedicated raid servers and render stations. Compositing and special visual effects are delivered on the platform of Autodesk Flame/Flint, worldwide recognized leader in the field of compositing. The sound post-production is performed on the system of Digidesign ProTools.
