Ceres is a collaborative agri-tech partnership between five leading UK universities and three renowned agricultural research institutes. Founded in 2018, Ceres provides translational funding and commercialisation expertise to researchers at its partner universities, helping to drive UK agri-tech innovation by accelerating high quality research to market. Ceres is supported by a £4.8m grant from Research England’s Connecting Capability Fund, which drives collaboration among UK universities and supports commercialisation of their research through partnerships with industry.
