Ambiq was founded in 2009 by a group of renowned inventors and technology enthusiast in Hong Kong with an objective of introducing innovative NFC based payment and security solution that are best in class to its customers. Headquartered in Hong Kong, with the R&D center in Sri Lanka, Ambiq has been successful in building a solid NFC based contactless payment platform as well as a Trusted Service Manager (The Unified Payment Platform) that can provide the customer with complete, end-to-end payment infrastructure that supports many verticals. Ambiq has successfully deployed its mobile and card based Automated Fare Collection System for transport services and a secure NFC Based Social Benefit Program for the Ministry of Economic Development of Sri Lanka. Ambiq has also deployed its mobile-based payment solution at St. Petersburg in the Russian Federation. Our ability to work with multiple devices such as mobile phones and EFT POS’s for transaction acquiring and the relative ease of integration of our payment platform with existing payment switches/networks gives our customers the ease and simplicity that they have been looking for in a comprehensive payment solution.
