Calling The Shots is an award-winning film production company based in Bristol. CTS delivers broadcast, digital video and multiplatform projects for TV, corporate clients and education providers. Projects include ITV doc series Severn Stories in 2008, corporate client Honda TV, broadcast fiction BBC3 New Film Makers, Mini Masterpieces and BBC4's Bollywood Shorts. CTS are currently producing 72 short experiential arts films for broadcast on Channel 4's Random Acts strand. CTS has expertise in talnet devleopment and project management. For instance, we have recently helped the University of Bristol engage successfully with eight different community groups as varied as single parents and Afro-Caribbean music fans as part of a million pound AHRC funded project. We helped Channel 4 connect with over 1000 16-25 year olds through our 4Talent work-related learning days, and we’re currently up-skilling 16-25 year olds and commissioning 72 experimental arts films for Channel 4 through their Random Acts TV strand. We have developed skills and capacity in communities and organisations throughout the South West and nationally.
