The Alberta Pastoral Care Association promotes quality Pastoral Care though an amalgam of professional Chaplains and/or Spiritual Care Practitioners, clergy, trained volunteer chaplains, and trained Lay Pastoral Care/Religious Community Visitors, who connect and network to provide support and encouragement for each other and who work together to provide education and training opportunities at a non-professional level for pastoral caregivers.
