There are several reasons for an insufficient level of safety; some of them being low priority, lack of solutions or difficulties in understanding procedures as well as the demands from the authorities. In addition, some companies are operating with over-engineered safety solutions, which require unnecessary and expensive maintenance. Put together, all of these reasons provide an insufficient or none-existing safety level that can lead to accidents. Accidents that could easily have been avoided. By gathering multiple leading companies together, we can highlight the subjects, which present the largest challenges for the end-users. In cooperation with experts and authorities, we will answer the difficult questions and contribute with tools for solutions, that the end-users can bring back home to their companies. We aim to make functional safety tangibly and set focus on the importance hereof. The expectations are that the end-users will leave with increased knowledge and suitable tools for solutions to be used in their companies. In addition, the end-users will have an opportunity to network and clarify all questions regarding practically solutions and product choosing in light of the regulatory requirements. Because multiple stakeholders with different backgrounds are joined together in arranging this conference, many important aspects and exchanges of experience will be presented, which is an advantage for the delegates.
