Duro Workforce’s mission is to help empower students by making STEM engaging and building their skills and experience. To achieve this, Duro’s FunFab (Fundamentals of Fabrication) program emphasizes the development of mathematical thinking, spatial reasoning, and problem solving through goal-directed group projects that require experimentation and creativity. FunFab incorporates the NYS Common Core Learning Standards for Mathematics so that participants can explore and appreciate the applications of their math lessons in an array of STEM fields.
