Kappa Alpha Theta Fraternity (www.kappaalphatheta.org) is the first Greek-letter women’s fraternity founded Jan. 27, 1870, at DePauw University, formerly Indiana Asbury. The international organization–which is a member of the National Panhellenic Conference–has more than 140 chapters at colleges and universities in the U.S. and Canada and more than 200 alumnae chapters and circles worldwide. Today, total initiated membership exceeds 230,000. ^KAT Kappa Alpha Theta Foundation (www.kappaalphathetafoundation.org) is a 501(c)(3) charitable and educational tax-exempt organization independent from Kappa Alpha Theta Fraternity. Theta Foundation’s mission is to secure and manage resources for the educational, leadership, and philanthropic programs of the Fraternity and for the scholastic, professional, and service pursuits of its members. Founded in 1960, Theta Foundation stands as a pillar of support for Thetas and a partner in the Fraternity’s educational and philanthropic efforts. ^FDN Kappa Alpha Theta Fraternity Housing Corporation (kappaalphathetahousing.org) holds title to or rents real and/or personal property to be used for housing and/or meeting purposes of specific college chapters. Since 2007, the FHC has invested more than $5 million in remodeling, renovations, and furnishings of participating chapters. The FHC currently has more than 60 member chapters. ^FHC
