The Tool Library is an all-volunteer nonprofit community-based resource lending library whose mission is to provide communities with the tools they need to create the change they want. We believe that cost shouldn’t be a barrier to fixing up your home, growing your own food, or improving your community. Through an innovative sharing economy model, our members can borrow from an inventory of over 3,500 tools. We also put our tools to work supporting large-scale community projects such as neighborhood clean-ups, tree-plantings, community gardens, and public art installations.
