OakTownSoul’s mission is to give their talented local artists and producers the tools and opportunities to have successful careers in the Bay Area by demanding excellency! Currently, the bay area only has one major distribution label that covers all 7.5 million people in the bay area. For that reason, OakTownSoul has spent the last couple of years building an ecosystem where industry-standard creative work can be created and circulated within Oakland rather than transplanted to other traditionally media-centric cities.
