The Lacey Family Foundation helps organizations who understand the benefits of animal-assisted therapy to improve lives and aid in recovery. Our Mission Statement: "Dedicated to the Healing Power of Animals." The following principles drive our organization’s mission and goals: • We give to established 501(c)(3) organizations where we believe our donation will make a difference. • We support the communities in which we live and work, therefore, we focus on organizations who serve the Mid-Atlantic states. • Diversity in our giving is important to us - both in the organizations’ causes and in the animals. • We will make multiple-year grants to the organizations who have achieved measurable and sustainable growth: programs, number of people served, etc.
