Fewer than 2 in 10 students who enter 9th grade in Boston schools ever graduate college. We envision a community where resources are aligned to ensure all school-aged children have a strong foundation with the skills and knowledge to pursue their personal and professional dreams. A fiscally sponsored program of Third Sector New England (TSNE), Tutors for All (T4A) bridges the achievement gap one student at a time. Through bringing together colleges, schools and community resources, we offer underserved students the systematic individualized instruction they need in order to thrive. Students in the Tutors for All programs have shown dramatically improved MCAS scores and renewed and deeper confidence in their academic abilities. Schools hosting Tutors for All programs have seen assessment results rise from below Boston averages to above state averages.
