The Superior Healthcare Group
www.superiorhealthcare.co.ukThe Superior Healthcare Group provides care packages which support children, young people and adults who have complex health needs to live safely at home - as well as supporting other care providers including care homes and hospitals who have short term staffing needs. The organisation was founded in 2006 by Stewart Thorp, his father Charles and Sarah Richards in response to their experience of caring for Stewart’s sister and Charles’ daughter, Katie, who has an acquired brain injury. For us, it's personal. In 2014, The Superior Healthcare Group became the first healthcare employer in Kent to commit to paying all members of our team a real Living Wage and we have maintained our support for the Living Wage Movement since then. We have grown to employ more than 500 carers and nurses who provide in excess of 10,000 hours of care and support each week. Our Complex Care Service is trusted by private clients and their families, as well as organisations, including NHS clinical commissioning groups, local authorities, case managers and solicitors including Court of Protection Deputies who arrange care on behalf of people who have complex, continuing healthcare needs.
