The Federation Internationale de SAMBO or International SAMBO Federation (FIAS) is the world governing body for the sport of SAMBO since 1984. FIAS was officially a member of Sports Accord from 1985 and currently has 94 affiliated National Federations and about 20 FIAS candidate members. The vision of FIAS is to develop the SAMBO sport across the globe over the five continents The FIAS is officially recognised by the International Olympic Committee.
