Davidson Initiative is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission to build the next generation of aerospace and STEM professionals through student engagement strategies. We connect with students in K-12 that have an aerospace dream, and we take them from the dream phase to actualization; providing the exposure and resources they need all through the journey. We also connect with students that are already in a college aerospace or STEM program and carry them to completion. Consequently, we are establishing sustainability in workforce development by ensuring a continuous influx of eligible candidates in the workforce pipeline to meet the rising demands of the expanding industry. We implement our mission by offering intentional programs that facilitate student success at various levels of engagement and aspiration. Some programs include discovery flight scholarships, speaker series, STEM workshops, career mentoring, networking events, access to scholarship resources, and volunteering opportunities.
